Learn more about the PWMCA today!
Jamie is the president of PWMCA (Professional Worldwide Mobile Cleaning Association). He is all about the power washing community.
He grew up in the industry—a window cleaning company that just didn't work out. He started his pressure washing company with a partner and their business model of $149, but there were problems with that business model. His guys working for him had to upsell the jobs, and it was bringing in the cheap customers, which brought nothing but complaints and issues. They were making money, but it was just too much stress, to where he bought out his partner. In 2017, he started his new business in value and kindness. Which brought him to creating a Facebook group and teaching others about the mistakes that others were making in the industry. This then led to starting the PWMCA Association. This association is about a brotherhood and just wants to help each other succeed.
What is the PWMCA, and how would it benefit me if I wanted to join?
What they do is bring contractors what they want. They hold Zoom meetings on items that contractors need. They do a lot of training and (1) event once a year. They have a blog to help contractors.
Their next event is March 26-Feb 1, in Orlando, FL.
Curt Campton was letting Jamie know that there are a lot of vendors happening in February. So for this year, they combined with Sales Boost, Million Dollar Admin Academy, ResponsiCon and Light it Up Expo.
This event will be different and will allow contractors the opportunity to network and meet new people.
How would the PWMCA benefit small businesses?
You will get a brotherhood and networking feature from it that is different than other associations. The subjects that they teach are about teaching and not sales of products, etc. It's about training.
Learn from your mistakes. Contractors teaching contractors makes the family. Contractors are lucky to have experienced contractors out in the industry. All the education that you can get makes you and the washing industry stronger.
